I have heard plenty excuses these past couple of weeks as to why it’s to difficult to workout from home or keep your nutrition in check. .
OUR BODIES NEED TO MOVE. OUR BODIES NEED TO BE NOURISHED. ESPECIALLY NOW! .
Trust me I get it! I’m just as sick of working out from home as the next person. I had pizza twice last week and I am enjoying movie nights & popcorn with my babes but I am still exercising and I’m being very intentional with the food I am nourishing with. .
HERE ARE A FEW FUN FACTS:
1. Stress is high right now! Exercise slows down the release of stress hormones. Some stress increases the chance of illness. Lower stress hormones may protect against illness.
2. Exercise helps your immune system perform at a high level.
3. The immune system army marches in ones stomach and it needs regular NOURISHMENT from fruits, vegetables, healthy fats, healthy carbs and protein. 🥦🍎🍌🥑🍠 .
Give yourself grace if you haven’t been 100% on track with your goals- were in difficult times! Be conscious of what you’re consuming and exercise for your health opposed to physical goals. Take care of yourself! 🤍 .
