Brand new Adidas tank from my local community op || $4
It’s hard to know what day it is.
Most of us have lost our set routines.
We all seem to have ‘a new norm’ we’re trying our best to adapt to.
But in this chaos, I’ve noticed I’m happy to find peace in the forced rest I’m having now.
Yes there are stressors, we have been on lockdown in our home for at least 3 weeks, the sadness of missing time with my family and friends, loss of money, loss of freedom, loss of work etc.
But, I feel my gratitude for the most simple things coming back.
A hot meal, that fact we have a safe place to sleep, a body that allows me to move and exercise, a partner that I love with my whole heart and that I get to feel more loved than ever, the fact that around the world there are people suffering on levels far worse than me even prior to this covid situation.
Today I exercised, gardened and then sat in bed with a wine, a roast slow cooking in the oven.
My partner played guitar and made me laugh. That was enough.
So apologies fellow op shoppers/ thrift shoppers / charity shoppers for the semi boring posts, but I’ll try to infuse some ‘at home, new reality, fashion flair’ going forward ✔️
